Responsible Lobbying Policy
At UMAGE
At UMAGE, we engage in lobbying and advocacy only in ways that are aligned with our values and contribute to positive social and environmental impact, in line with internationally recognised frameworks, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Our positions are based on reliable and, where possible, scientifically grounded information and recognised standards.
Principles
• Make financial or in-kind contributions to political parties, political candidates, or political campaigns
• Engage in bribery, corruption, or any form of undue influence
We act in accordance with applicable laws and maintain ethical standards in all public affairs and advocacy activities.
Industry Associations and Third Parties
Where UMAGE participates in industry associations or other organisations that may engage in lobbying or advocacy on our behalf, we assess whether their positions align with this policy.
If misalignment occurs, we will seek to address it through dialogue. Where alignment cannot be achieved, we will take appropriate steps, which may include clarifying UMAGE’s own position publicly or reconsidering our involvement.
Transparency and Concerns
Stakeholders may raise concerns regarding UMAGE’s lobbying or advocacy activities through our grievance mechanism available on our website.
Governance
This policy has been approved by UMAGE’s senior management and is reviewed annually by the responsible function.
