Oak veneer consists of a thin layer of oak wood glued onto a stable fiberboard core. This construction makes veneered tabletops less sensitive to changes in humidity than solid wood, while still displaying the natural beauty of oak. Each veneer strip is carefully cut from the same trunk, creating a harmonious and uniform appearance, yet natural characteristics such as minor knots, marked veins, and subtle colour variations remain, adding to the charm of the piece.

Everyday cleaning
Clean gently with a soft cloth wrung in warm water. Avoid detergents, chemical cleaners, or abrasive materials, which can damage the lacquered surface. Wipe spills immediately and always dry the surface thoroughly.
Protection and precautions
Lacquered veneer surfaces cannot be retreated. Avoid placing hot or damp objects directly on the tabletop, and use coasters or mats under dishes, vases, and candlesticks. Because the wood colour matures over time, leaving objects in the same place for extended periods may create uneven colouring that is difficult to correct.
